Working with Rabbitte Joinery: Simple & Seamless

OUR PROCESS

STEP ONE

Design Process

This first appointment is all about getting to know you! Our designers will discuss your brief and get as much information as possible to establish your individual requirements for the space in terms of function, aesthetics, and budget. This design brief will typically take one hour.

Your designer will work through a wish list to help establish what features, finishes and appliances best suit your needs. At the completion of this design appointment, your designer will arrange a second appointment for you to meet where you will be presented with kitchen concepts.

STEP TWO

Once our designers have completed an initial design for you, they will meet with you again in our showroom to explain the plans to you and discuss the layout so you will gain a clear understanding of their ideas and recommendations, together with the rationale behind them. From here the plans can be finetuned and products can be agreed on for accurate pricing.

STEP THREE

Once products are chosen your designer will put together some costings for you and we will meet with you in our showroom to run through this and your plans again.

STEP FOUR

Once you have confirmed that you are going ahead with your kitchen, and we also ask that you accept our quote by clicking on the “accept this quote” at the bottom of the final quote email. From here we can discuss with you timeframes and get you into our production system.

We will also carry out a final meeting which allows our designers to confirm all details with you. At this appointment, we will get you to sign off on your kitchen plan and specifications. Our designers will also let you know the timeframes of when they need all information back to ensure that we maintain your installation dates. If for any reason information is not provided, or changes are made to the kitchen, then your installation dates will be readvised.

Once our manufacturing specifications are all completed, and plans signed off then your designer will give you a copy of these plans and these will be handed over to our production team.

Production Process

STEP FIVE

At this stage, your kitchen plans will be handed over to our production team and they will be in contact to arrange a site measure. Delivery of your individually made kitchen will be approximately 8 to 10 weeks from site measurement which is when your site allows us to get accurate measurements, (This is when your room is gibbed and plastered). If needed, our designer or production team if needed can meet onsite with builder, plumber and electrician to ensure every detail is considered. Continued liaison between our team and your contractors monitors the conditions and progress of the site.

STEP SIX

Once your home is at a stage where our Production team can do an exact site measure using the latest technology, the construction of your kitchen can begin. Some appliances may be required, and these will be requested for fitting off in the workshop. If appliances cannot be supplied in the workshop for fitting, then any issues at installation may incur an additional charge.

If any changes are required due to variation in dimensions from plan to actual or due to appliance installation guidelines, then this will be worked through between the designer and production team. At this stage if any changes are requested by client, then the project will be taken out of production and given back to the design team to finalise plans again with you.

The actual installation of your cabinetry is likely to take 3 to 5 days. Once the cabinetry is fitted actual templating can be done for your benchtops. And these are installed approx. 15 working days later.
